do you ever listen to the weepies? they're one of my favorite bands and your entry reminded me of one of their songs:

"I dreamed you first
But not so real
And everyday since I've found you
Such moments we steal
Like little thieves, we rub our hands
We hold our hearts between them.
But will you hear me and know?

I want only this, I want to live
I want to live a simple life."

Nice photos! I live 20 miles out of L.A. What's on your husband's shirt is sooo true :)

Beautiful photos.

I must admit, though, that finding a spider living in my shoes is asomewhat serious fear of mine. I always check before I put on any boots or shoes that have been sitting around for a long time.

Aura, I've visited your blog a few times and love your photographs! So beautiful and stunning! Inspiring, too. The photograph of the ladybug on the open hand is especially lovely, with the fine wrinkles of the fingers showing ...

Hi Aura, I'm sorry I have to apologise; I have left a couple of comments and haven't even introduced myself! I discovered this little space of yours last week, and have been captivated by your words and pictures. I live in the south-east of England (not far out from London)and am at home raising my two boys at the moment, but am taking a university degree in Environmental studies. I am passionate about the environment and wildlife and hope eventually to be able to going into that line of work. I love sewing dolls and knitting little hedgehogs, in fact hedgehogs are one of my favourite animals along with butterflies. :)Hope you have a great day!

That picture of you(?) is wonderful. I wish my husband could take nice pictures like that. But when I ask him to take pictures, I only get ones of my butt back.

Samantha- It's nice to meet you :) Do you plan on selling your little hedgehogs? You should!

Meg- I actually took that picture, because the ones Michael take of me usually end up being of my butt, too :)

Thank you to every one else for reading along. I'm so glad you guys are here.

Ha ha! Is Michael wearing Jesus rope sandals? I remember the days that you would have referred to someone as a "dirty hippie" for that!

Aura said...

I STILL call people a dirty hippies for wearing them!!
He's actually worn those since high school. I got my first pair my freshman year of college, and STILL have them. I just wore them the other day :)
