You are so inspiring. It's easy to say this since I am faceless: I have recently plummeted into a deep depression having moved away from my family to live in Germany with my husband for several reasons. Since moving, I've gained weight and have been abnormally feeding my negativity. Your blog reminded me of who I used to be and who I want to be again. The pounds and the sadness are already disappearing. I just wanted to thank you.
I love this. My Mike and I are heading to Maryland for the week. I so wish we were going to the shore. I miss it so. Thank you for letting us live through your photos! I will miss your posts while I'm gone but be back to catch up soon! ox
Does this post mean that there will be 3 soon? As one who will turn from a 2 to a 3 in December, I am trying to turn as many 2s into 3s as possible... lol.
I'm going to fondly remember when it was just my Matty and me and have been inspired by you to document our remaining days as two!
I'm thinking exactly what Ms LaPointe just asked - will 2 become 3 soon? I'm hoping for the same thing for us soonish and reading your post made me feel the same way about life at the moment (albeit in a currently warm and dusty London as opposed to on the beach!). Your photos are wonderful - how do you do the shots of the two of you? Do you set the timer and put the camera on the ground? They work out so well...I might have to try that in London (somewhere i can leave the camera on the ground and walk away from it without the risk of someone picking it up and running away...). JL
Beautiful pictures and post! I was thinging I was going to see a pregnancy announcement at the end :O) Happy 4th of July to you and your husband!! xo, Kelly
Aura when I read this post it sounded like a bub is on the way ;)
Your photos are so beautiful, although I found it really hard to read the first one. It was hard to see the letters. I love the 14th & 3rd last one with a capital L. Can you direct me to your post on the processing on photos? I couldn't find it. Me LOVES it!
Like almost everyone here, I was waiting the announcement too, that there will be 3 of you soon :) I really love the pictures, it's so hard to find words in english to describe the beauty of your photos - just takes my breath away.
I got a Canon 450D as a birthday gift from my parents, I couldn't belive it when i saw it! Now I'm really starting to study how to use the cam and settings, all your shooting tips are welcome ;)
The pictures are so beautiful Aura! I love the beach, but I live in a landlocked country (Paraguay) and don't get to see it as often as I would like, so thanks for sharing!
i just discovered your blog today after clicking on a bunch of links on various blogs. i don't remember how i got here, but i'm really glad i did. i absolutely love your blog. your photos are simply beautiful and intriguing. you have so much creativity and you really inspire me to keep taking pictures, writing, and editing. i'll be reading your blog regularly. happy 4th of july.
So sweet!! Your time together looks alot like ours did before we were three! :) Enjoy it!! Having more is SUCH an incredible blessing but that time when it's just two of you is so wonderfully sweet and special!
Beautiful pictures! We just got back from Florida and it is all I can think about! We stayed on St. Pete's Beach in Pass-A-Grille. I think I could move there and hunt for sea shells for a living! Thanks for sharing! XOXO
As always, thank you ladies for your wonderful support and feedback.
Not just yet on our 2 becoming 3 :)
J: That makes me really happy. I hope that things completely turn around for you, soon. It takes 21 days to build a habit. Wake up for 21 mornings with a smile on your face and watch it grow and stretch to every aspect of your life. xo
Katyha- I haven't ever done a specific post on photo processing, but I think I need to! I get asked about it, a lot. Is there anything specific that you want to know?
I had no idea you responded to my question, (blogger's comment system is really sucky). I remember a post which just showed what you did with your photos, so it wasn't really a photo processing post. I like the effect on the 3rd last photo where they sky looks so clear and very light blue BUT I like them all so I hope that when you get a chance you can hopefully do a quick 'how to'

Aura, my life is already returning to normal. I'm finding happiness around every corner I turn.
Thank you for responding. And again, thank you for being so inspirational.

What a simple and yet a great photo essay.
