Happy Weekend!

Happy Weekend, friends!
Any fun adventures planned?

Baby Brady is here to visit his Aunt, I have a baby shower to go to, and lots of rest to catch up on.
I hope you all enjoy your extra long holiday weekend.

Is that in Oklahoma? Because that is a beautiful view, and if so, I'll be telling my parents to move to that part of Oklahoma instead of the flat, treeless part they live in now.

Goodness no, Caleb! Oklahoma is flat and treeless for the most part! This picture was taken in Leadville, CO back country, around 12,500 feet.

This picture is so cute, I love it!

My weekend was long but enjoyable. It's the first touch of fall here in Alabama. What do we do in the fall? Eat, sleep and breathe football of course!

Mike and I went to the season opener at Alabama University it was so fun. I have never been to an SEC college football game before. The weather was great warm but not too hot and sunshine for miles.

Yesterday was a kayaking trip, short run, but at the same time sad. It may be one of the last. I was exhausted from the night before but I didn't want to miss out on one last float.

We checked out Elk City Lake this weekend, but unfortunately we were not impressed. It may have been because of the terrible wind there. We had to stay inside our cousin's camper the whole time.

I did get some great pictures when we did venture outside. I love how the red dirt looks when cracked in the hot sun.

Hope you had tons o'fun too!
