Go o u t s i d e.

These pictures were taken last weekend, at some nearby trails that we take Hunter to. Today we're heading out of town for a little road trip to go hiking. As much as I miss an extra hour of sunshine every evening, an extra hour to my weekend is always nice.

Happy Sunday, friends.

I get so excited when I see a new post by you. Your photos are gorgeous and your outlook on life is inspiring. I have always loved that quote by Thoreau and to see it on your blog makes me so happy. Love it.

Really nice photos :) I love walking in the forests. How you get the lens flare in the pictures? Happy sunday too!

Thank you, ladies.

Sini- First of all I take my filter off my lens. If you have one on, take it off.

Then put the sun directly out of the shot, but make sure it's still casting strong light in your photos. Just look through your lens and let it be your eyes until you can see the flare in the shot. Also, if it's slightly out of focus, the flare is stronger. There are only certain times of day when I can get flare in my photos. Earlier in the morning and in the late afternoon.

Wow you amaze me hiking that far and high up while being at the peak of our pregnancy. But it feels like you can do anything, doesn't it? I felt the same way. And hopefully sometime soon again :)

Aura, these are so, so beautiful. If you are ever willing to take custom orders, I would love to purchase prints of three of these photographs.

My mom said you looked beautiful yesterday. :)

Aura, you really are a beautiful pregnant woman :)
I didn't leave a comment on your previous post, but you so well expressed that inward struggle that is new motherhood. Such a beautiful process. THANK you for your honesty.

You look beautiful. Being outdoors does wonders for the spirit, and I swear my little girl always knew it when she was in my belly and we went outdoors :).

Is that Sutton wilderness? My family has been frequenting those trails on the weekends - it always brings me back to my childhood - so it's sweet to see my nephews discover the same kind of magic that exists in the woods.
