Bringing the outdoors in - WINTER (christmas decorations '10)

Hello, friends.
I needed to finish a post on our Christmas decorations, and a new bringing the outdoors in, but I seem to be running out of time. How does this time of year sneak up so quickly? So here is a combination of both - our house this holiday season, and all the little bits of the outdoors that I love, to make it feel alive.
You can find our 2009 Christmas decorations, with information on where we purchased our items in the Decor page along the top.

You take such care in decorating your house, down to the tiniest detail. Love it, it's beautiful and really represents you!

I love the way that you decorate, it seems to be more of a celebration of the season rather than of Christmas. Beautiful!

You have such a beautiful home & a great sense of decorating style! I did something similar to this--bringing nature inside.

Amazing! Simply stunning :) Did you make the bark tree or twig wreath? I can't believe you are already 24 weeks! :)

gorgeous!!! love the rosemary especially!

and your pictures... i can't get enough... how do you get flare? and how do you shoot manually? and how are they so dang gorgeous? is that enough questions or what? basically i need to be your photography student.

but, any tips, send my way (although since i just asked questions requiring entire semesters of photography school, you can ignore me!)

Your holiday decorations are beautiful! I love how you bring in natural elements and incorporate them with your collection of ornaments. The photo of you in front of the tree is lovely! Your outfit and posture remind me of a Christmas ornament.

Peace!

i love your style! it's eclectic and flows so nicely at the same time

do you want to come to my house and decorate for me? I have big giant blank walls and can easily become overwhelmed and indecisive when it comes to home decor... just throwing it out there ;)

Every time you blow me away with how wonderfully you bring each season into your home! I'm a big fan of using as much natural stuff and stuff I can get from my yard in decorating my house so you are SO inspiring to me :D
I just posted on my blog with a little jar arrangement I made from my yard and linked back to your blog because you're so great!
Happy Holidays!

Wow, your house looks like it came straight out of a magazine or is an interior decorating shop itself! You've got a great eye for beauty and detail.

Branch envy...you're cute. You could go to a local flower shop and they usually have really cool branches with berries or burch branches, I did. I put them in pots in front of my front door. So, onto your beautiful decorations...I love how you put the aloe plant in that terrarium and all the freshness around is so earthy and great! You have quite an eye for making your home homey and comfortable!
