Happy Weekend, Friends.

Any fun plans?

I'm about to head outside and get started in the garden. It's time to break in my new gardening boots (my old polka dotted ones made it 5 years) and feel some sunshine on my shoulders.
If you'd like some tips on getting your gardens started this year, you can visit a few posts I did last season on Backyard Farming.

I absolutely love these pictures. Beautiful. You should make it poster size.

As for gardening... I'm thinking of beautifying my porch as well as making a vegetable garden. There are a few cute kits in etsy. Do you have an etsy store by any chance?

Love these photos. The two photos make a nice bold statement. I noticed the green boots and was wondering where the polka dots went. You've gotten some great wear out of them. Happy Weekend and good luck with this new phase of your life. Your freedom.

BEAUTIFUL!

I found your blog about 5 months ago when I was searching for wainscotting pics for our new babys room. I think it was your sister inlaws baby room that came up,anyway I have been reading it ever since. I just love it! We have alot of the same interests. I also do interior design, so I love seeing your beautiful pictures.

Hi! I'm a total fan of your blog, obviously, and this is my first comment and I have a silly question-- HOW do you get the frame around your pictures? The little html border surrounding?

Can't wait to see your beautiful little bird, much love and blessings!

You've been sooo busy. Love the header.
I did a beach clean this weekend - caught a tan though some horrible tan line which I plan on getting rid of if the weather remains as is :)

Aura! Any sign of your little bird? Three more days and she might make it to April, after all! I hope you're feeling alright. :-)

Your site looks amazing, Aura. Reminds me of a bloom...a new cycle. xo

Ana said...

Hi Aura,

After your reminder I went back and looked through all your gardening posts because I am going to be planting my first veggie garden (first garden ever of any type, actually). I was wondering about the weed barrier you guys installed when you first dug up the "new" garden. Did it work? Would you recommend it? I don't plan on doing an elevated bed, so I'm wondering how deep I will need to go to install one.

Thank you for all your awesome posts.
