Beach Week - Find the ways you have altered.

We change.

Time, stress, money, bad relationships, & negativity twist and shape us until we're shells of what we used to be.

The beach stays the same. The same sand, breeze, and sweet, predictable tide...pulling in and out, reminding me that I can always stay the same, too.

Aura,
These photos are absolutely beautiful. They make me so happy, just looking at them and reading. Thank you so so so much for sharing! I hope there are even more to come..

I'm leaving tomorrow for my own beach vacation - not the Florida, white sands kind - but a place I've gone every summer. Your photos make me so excited to be there!

You're welcome, Stacey! Thanks for reading along. Yes there are a lot more to come :) I still have to get to pictures of me attempting to surf. ha!

Have so much fun on your trip! The beach is the beach, white sand or not. Give me brown sand and I'm still a happy girl.

Aura, I adore these pictures! I can't describe how it makes me feel, but I need to get out and enjoy the summer too :) This beach in your pictures looks perfect, how comes it's so empty and no other people? Here if go to the beach, you are stuffed like sardins in can. I don't like it.. I dream of this kind of beach where isn't almost anyone!

RIGHT ON!!!! I love the beach for that exact reason! It NEVER changes!! well ...except for those pesky tar balls showing up over here on our coast!

As always, your photos are amazing. Makes me want to go to the beach. It's ridiculous, I can be there in less than a half hour and I have only been once since it's started warming up.

I love these photos (as always), but I feel inclined to chime in. As someone who has been going to the same beaches my entire Florida life, I can attest that the beach changes all the time, in more ways than can be counted. It's something I've always loved about them.

I love the sentiment behind this. It's so true. When I return to my roots I always feel most like myself but then I realize I'm always myself, just becoming a better version of me every day.

I love your blog! Never go 'private'! Or make sure you invite me, so I can still view your gorgeous pics! Very inspiring words too. I love your bohemian skirt. Where'd ya get it? If you don't mind sharing....Thanks! Amy

Aura,
Gorgeous pictures.
This is so random but do you have any suggestions for a product to protect fine hair from heat??
